October 10, 2011 at 8:36 pmHaving trouble getting my setup to work in Snow Leopard. I just installed Snow Leopard on a fresh drive and did all the Mac OSX updates and am trying to get a GTX 470 to work properly. Everything is going fine except that the performance in Resolve is very poor and the CUDA-Z performance test shows that it’s being slowed way down for some reason. Host to Device Pinned is only at 1900 where it should be somewhere in the low to mid 5000’s. (talking about the Cuda test app here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/cuda-z/files/cuda-z/Beta/ )
I installed the Snow Leopard drivers for the Quadro 4000 for Mac first and then CUDA 4.0.50. Anything else I can try?
Thanks!

October 10, 2011 at 9:09 pmJust found my own solution. Had to remove the AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext from System/Library/Extensions. Thought that was just for Lion but I guess not. Now rendering full Res R3Ds with no errors! A miracle has been performed today.
