Sorry to hear that you are not happy about Media 100. I would agree that there are bugs in Media 100, but there are bugs in each application I´ve ever worked with. But overall Media 100 is much more stable and reliable for us than any other editing system, including FCP, Avid and others.
I haven´t heard about your bug where you lose audio files. Could you please describe what is going on there? In over 15 years using Media 100 we never encountered anything (software related), that caused a media file loss. Only drive problems gave us problems in this regard.
