You may be absolutely right. I have found random errors in all sorts of onlines that are were otherwise fine, going back to CMX days. Did you have other slomos that were fine? I haven’t done any onlines with 5.1.4, but things were fine for me in 5.1.2 and 5.0.4. It could just be a random thing that wouldn’t have occured in a slightly different situation, so it may be hard to reproduce.

Make sure you use the “send feedback” menu item in the FCP interface. Apple monitors that.
