Of course things may have changed since CS3 when I believe you’ve said you were last a-beta testin…and it would be silly to think that they didn’t change a lot more when Apple handed Adobe a potential huge chunk of its NLE customer base. For evidence, look at the acquisitions that Adobe went out and made within a few months of the X shocker. But we’ll probably see what the Premiere team has been up to in the next few months, if not sooner.

I came to Adobe during CS5 and I’ve been very, very impressed with the Premiere Pro team. I worked on the FCP team too, so I do have a benchmark. The AE team is really awesome, I do agree with that.

April 3, 2013 at 9:28 pmPPro is taking ridiculous strides.
seriously – please march on – and rightfully claim (by fief!) the broad industry editing mainstay prize tossed into the air by the madmen at apple and, you know, reap the decade’s worth million or so editor user base harvest that follows. please take this baby home.
Don’t make us have to get into the godforsaken magnetic timeline. We will send you cake.

April 3, 2013 at 10:46 pmIf they just fix the audio (a concern since PP v1) and the multicam in Premiere I’ll be happy.
