Dressing up a politician’s lies is the worst. Cutting X movies down to R for cable was sad and soul-sapping. Flaming Lips videos for the first couple of records was incredibly cool and fun. Live @ Yahoo! was always good. Usually it aint’ the gig itself it’s the other people involved.

For some it might seem like a worst but I spent weeks in hospitals in Sydney and Beijing filming open heart surgery. Gruesome yes but also fascinating. Recording the sound of the saw cutting through the sternum was not the best way to start the day.

Filming in abattoirs is also a challenge at times. Tim, I hope you spared a thought for the poor camera & sound crew that had to be there filming the pigs. At least post spared you the smell.
