January 7, 2012 at 2:47 amAre the Red transitions “inside” the Red environment?
That was one of my problems with Red, the environment and “containers”. Containers are sort of like precomps in After Effects.
I just flip flop between soooo many programs that I do not need to assimilate another interface.
Why are there no transition packages for Premiere Pro? Anyone know?

January 7, 2012 at 5:34 amThat’s kind of what I figured just as soon as I hit send. I’m really regretting moving over to Premiere and Boris. It’s been nothing but disaster and disappointment. I really wish Boris would pull it together and make their (expensive, fully paid for) software work across all platforms like it should. That fact that none of their “transitions” actually work as transitions is baffling and they apparently don’t seem the slight bit concerned with that. I mean, it works in FCP and they work in Premiere for Windows. They apparently even work in Vegas. But getting functional transitions to work in Premiere Pro 5.5 on Mac is bizarrely low priority. Boris for Premiere is like buying a car and not being given the wheels, but the dealer just keeps saying, “We’ll get them to you eventually.” The fact that you have to check a matrix of compatibility just to see if what you paid for will work seems more like treating us as game show contestants or gamblers than paying customers. I’m really starting to regret my purchase.

March 4, 2012 at 1:27 pmYes, I’ve seen those free transitions and they’re great. A big thanks to the person that did those.
Yes Premiere Pro transitions are a real sore point. I can buy a $30 slideshow program and get a ton of nice slick transitions that I could only dream of in Premiere.

April 19, 2012 at 1:42 am“RIGHT THERE” is not ver descriptive. RIGHT WHERE? If I go into “Applications/Adobe Premiere Pro cs5.5/” the only folders I have are “Presets” which has a “Styles” folder inside it, and a “Configuration” which has a .png, and a .xml file in it. So WHERE is the 5.5 folders you are refering?
