June 16, 2008 at 10:19 amI tried to render the movie with MPEG-2 and the template: Blu-Ray 1440 x 1080-50i, 25 Mbps video stream. And then open the file in DVD Author and it worked very fine. When I started burning the program noticed me that it had to render the movie so it fitted the DVD disk. The program did it, and the burning finished without any mistakes. Then I tried to watch the DVD on my HDTV and the quality was very good.
I also tried to render the movie with WMV settings that you uses so I can play the movie on my computer. But I think you need a HDMI output on your computer if you want HD quality on your movies when you watch them on your TV. I don’t think the VGA cable manage to give full HD signals to the TV.
