OK. Then as a test, shut everything down. Turn off whatever is connected to your tempo card and unplug your MXO2, then restart.

There most definitely can be a driver conflict.

    Hello There
I was reading your post from March 2010 re:ajpcd20 mounting with 10.6 and thought you may have some advice as I am having issues with my ajpcd20 that is inline with a power pc g5 2.3 running os 10.5.8.
The card reader worked fine before 32gig cards and since then I’ve installed new drivers several times and
have not been able to get the reader to read through FW only usb. I’ve reinstalled everything from OS to as I said drivers with the exception of the original disc that came with the ajpcd20 when I bought it 5 years ago. I’ve upgraded the firmware to the unit through a PC and still no success.
    Can you help?
    Thanks
    Steve

Is it only 32GB cards that don’t work?

Are you lopping the unit through another firewire device?

You have installed the Leopard compatible drivers and not the Snow Leopard drivers, correct?

I have blown out the FW port on the PCD20 a couple of times. It is very sensitive…

I understand, but you haven’t mistakenly install the SL drivers have you?

I’m with Arthur, it is possible that the fw port is bad on the PCD20.

    Okay
Is there any other test I can perform on the FW port
before I send the unit in for service?
