From what I’m reading in the white paper, What used to be an FCP 7 “project” is now a library. Events are now what were known as bins, and projects are sequences.

Yep just read that too – looks better – no more clunky projects that get too big (feature films) and easy to share or move libraries.

Seems like we got “autosave” as “snapshots” and “backups” now. At least they’re intuitive!

AND There’s a library backups location under general preferences. Not totally sure what that means but it’s a very good sign we’ll have easy archiving ability.

So can I officially tell Bill (and others) “I told you so” since he basically told me to quit trying to make FCP X fit the legacy mold when I wrote at length over and over that libraries equal projects, after reading Alex4Ds findings in the new iMovie?
