Yes, works well… about what you would expect from a laptop. The new iMacs will handle 32 gb of ram so that could be a really nice addition to After Effects.

FYI, the old iMacs handle 32GB as well, just not officially. I’m running 24GB right now

Yep, my ’11 MBP officially runs 8gb but I have 16 gb.
