New iMac G5’s – a couple of questions

I purchased my iMac with no intentions to do broadcast or HD. I wouldn’t even attempt HD on it. I simply bought it to do a few small side projects,( weddings, funerals, etc.) and to try out things that I don’t have time to try at work. I think if a user is aware of the limitations, the iMac will work just fine for them. You can’t expect to get BMW performance out of a VW Beetle. You know what I mean?
