NEW Apple HDV 1.4 codec

The only thing I find that puts me off from native HDV is render times… they are lot longer than a ProRes render… that’s the real problem with GOP structured media IMHO. Haven’t worked with xdcam stuff though, but figure it still has to conform etc… right?

There is still a render out with XDCam I’m afraid, but you can still master out to HDCam in realtime via HDSDI
