December 13, 2007 at 1:21 amI have repeatedly submitted feedback to Apple to not include favorites in the general preferences, but they don’t like listening to lil ole me. I can take a wild stab as to why they do ti they way they do, and it is probably for decent reasons, but it still annoying.
The work around is to setup a project with blank clips in it (or slugs) and apply your filter stack settings to those slugs. That way, you will always have the favorites embedded in a clip for future use. If you need a favorite, simply open up that project and find what you need.

December 13, 2007 at 2:14 amIf FCP is “quiting” by itself, please trash your FCP preferences. If you dont’ know how to do this, let me know, and I will list the instructions on how to do this – it’s easy.

December 17, 2007 at 6:08 pmWhile speaking of Dutch bands, the following list was submitted by [Bob Zelin] “…here is the quick answer –
After Forever, Delain, Within Temptation, Epica.”A couple of other Dutch bands that I have found recently are Nice Beaver and Ricocher. Ricocher’s “Quest for the Heartland” is interesting with some complex time changes, etc., but like Alan Holdsworth’s albums, the singer is not one of my favorites. But their harmonies help make up for that deficiency.
Nice Beaver also has a singer that I am not overly fond of (I like him even less than Ricocher’s singer) but the music, like many Dutch bands, spans areas and influences that American bands would never touch. Very classical and very complex.
But my favorite Dutch band of all time is and will likely remain Kayak. A great band.
Best regards,
