Need h.e.l.p with an audio effect

Guys, i still haven’t found out how to do what i want to do, i even have everything updated (Vegas 12 build 726) and i still don’t see the option you told me to use, heck, the layout looks different on mine then yours!

Edit: Found out there is a new version that came out on the 22th. I will update, but i am going to say now that i doubt it will have the option.

Is that it? No idea what i can do to use automation? Any 3rd party VST’s i can get?

I can see what you’ve done, you haven’t followed what was outlined above, in which case you wouldn’t be seeing the Automation option. Please read this again, carefully.

Am I correct in seeing you adding the Elastique to the EVENT? Where I added Elastique to the TRACK. Once I do that I could get all the Automation Controls needed – for the Track.

Ok, just got the 2 confused, should work now.
Can you use it just on an individual clip?

When you say “Clip” you mean Event. Yes. Two ways:

1] Just apply the adjustments to the envelop FOR the duration of that EVENT.

OR

2] Have a separate Track JUST for that Audio EVENT.
