Fantastic.
I do know that the NanoFlash (I have one…they’re pretty useful IMO) utilizes data rates that are technically the same type of file as XDcamEX/HD files, but since they unlock higher data rates than Sony does for the XDcamHD format (as well as I-frame capability at a few data rates, etc), it’s not really the same “format” in the sense of an NLE recognizing it. There have been a couple releases in the past where supporting higher NanoFlash data rates took a patch or an update.

August 27, 2014 at 12:16 amWe have just begun to edit our feature film and we have Nano files we shot 2 years ago (Don’t say it please)
and we can only get them to play in VLC player.
