July 25, 2007 at 2:38 pmI had a problem once loading HDV off an HVRZ1U. My dual 2.0 G5 was having a bad day and it couldn’t keep up. So on the capture it would work for 20 secs or so and then wouldn’t be able to capture any longer and would freeze. Then I took the camera to our newer FCP suite on an Intel dualcore and it captured fine. I’d try a different machine.

July 27, 2007 at 1:40 pmThanks. I don’t have another suite I can go to at least immediately. IF someone finally solved the problem in the suite you were using I would love to hear the answer.

July 27, 2007 at 2:28 pmMaybe we can’t help you, but I’m not sure why I bother when you can’t be bothered to answer basic troubleshooting questions? Is it so hard?
One last time:
Be as exact as you can. What settings are on the media? What settings are you using in Final Cut? What computer are you using? What drives? What camera or deck? How’s everything connected? What version of the application are you using, and what version of the OS and of QT are you using?
All the best,
Tom
