May 3, 2006 at 12:56 amQuite a crane! So I take it that one moves the handle and canola oil moves up or down the coiled tube to move the pan/tilt head. Is that correct?

May 9, 2006 at 10:46 amSorry about the spelling. It appeared to me that the handle functioned that way. The extra handle at the end helped rotate the camera and it was very easy to focus on an object and then move the camera around it, panning the background. It is difficult to describe but functions very easily. I found the whole operation of the crane to be very intuitive. The cameraman there said in about 20 minutes one could learn to do anything with it and I didn’t doubt him.
