Actually, the Cow is created on a Linux box.

June 27, 2005 at 5:41 am“Where is the “Mark as read” function gone?”
and the quote ability?
(We’re not whinging, here, its just changes (to a site) should be changes for the better. Perhaps these are hiccups that will soon be sorted out.)

and the quote ability?”Quote still works on the Mac with Firefox or Safari and on Windows XP with Internet Explorer. “Mark as read” will most likely be reappear as they work through the migration of the Cow to the new server.

June 28, 2005 at 12:16 amOkay everybody. As I hope you’ve already noticed, “Mark as Read” is back now. 2. For the more recent versions of Safari, quotes should be working again now as well. And 3… many thanks, Walter, for explaining so well that these are just issues that crop up when moving to a new system, and that they get fixed quickly. 🙂

June 28, 2005 at 12:18 amOh, and almost forgot 4… For those of you who were encountering issues with the word wrap… Is that still occuring? We couldn’t get that glitch to appear here at Cow Headquarters, so I don’t know for sure if what I’ve done has fixed that problem.
I dunno why I couldn’t get that glitch, maybe it’s like my browsers fear me or something… 🙂
