MPG-2 files

Hello world!

I have the same problem, I try to import the video into mpeg2 Premiere, But invariably tells me that the format is not supported.
I am using a trial version of Premiere. For now I solved by importing a plug-in also this test, But it seems impossible that Premiere not accept that format.

Between formats supported, In preverenze of Premiere, I found this: Mp3 (mp3 – mpg – mpge): Should then accept them in any case as I understand, But why is not so?

Dear All,
Sorry to respond so late, but thank you for all your advice re: Mpg-2 files and Premiere. I wasn’t using a trial version, so I am still not certain what the problem was. I actually uninstalled the program and have since returned to my PC version, where everything seems to be working fine. One day, I will upgrade to FC Pro for my mac.
