I’ve been getting these VERY annoying spots showing up after exporting a Final Cut 5 movie to an MPEG2 using the Compressor 2 program. The same spots occur after rendering to MPEG2 out of DVD Studio Pro 4 too… what should I do?

I was also curious to know if anyone has used the new Lacie FastCoder $75 hardware real-time MPEG2 encoder.

Would I be better off printing my Final Cut movies to some sort of mastering deck and then spitting the master back into my Mac using real-time MPEG2 encoding? It seems like a lot of steps but I hate all the software conversions I have to go through to work around my problem with the spots in Compressor.

I’m still a beginner I guess… somebody please help me!
