March 3, 2008 at 5:06 pmMP3s vary in quality. Some of them work fine in the TL after rendering. Some work better after sending it through QT Pro and changing the sample rate to 48k. But some won’t work either way because the original quality is too low. I’m surprised to hear that other apps like Episode or Cleaner will handle poor quality MP3s any better than QT Pro. Sending them through FCP should be using the same QT protocol, but you can do that in a batch process with batch export. If your MP3 doesn’t work even after sending through QT Pro (or iTunes for that matter), try a different MP3 from a different source. Or just get the original like Capt. Mensch says.
