I use the encoders available at this site:

There are numerous cross format/lossless conversions you can do with them. As well as other conversions.
PLEASE NOTE! I have had some anti-virus see them as false positives, so you MAY have to disable it when installing/using (I believe it is because it uses the command prompt.)
In any case, I have gone between formats when I need to, and with good luck.
