Blackmagic have called their underbaked NLE beta and that bu fixes and improvements have happened within a week. Apple would have copped far less flack if they had also been that honest and responsive.

What will matter is how long it will take Blackmagic to develop the NLE side. From 11 to 12 there have been major strides in just one year.
