Lucas, can you do a SDI dump out of your camera? I used a Matrox box to send the signal out and then playback the clip and record as I would a tape source.

If you can still see the files at the Finder/Explorer level ou can manually import the .mp4s using Clip Browser or XDCAM Browser. This will create a new BPAV which should be properly recognized by Avid AMA.

Thanks Jim! I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. I actually restored media when I put the card back into the camera. To attempt again, I just blew away the original transfer and tried it again and it the clips that wouldn’t link did on this try. Not sure what happened during the original transfer because all the files were there, but I’m happy it worked on this go around.
Again, thanks for your response. And if all else failed, this would have been a great solution.

    Best,
    Lucas

Thanks Ian! As I posted to Jim’s response, I actually restored media when I put the card back into the camera. I just blew away the original transfer and tried it again and it the clips that wouldn’t link did on this try. Thank you for your response! This also seems like a viable solution. I have not used the browser before and will look to this in the future if the need arises. I really appreciate your input!

    Best,
    Lucas
