Matte Box for BMCC?

Craig, I just got my cage, shoulder harness and follow focus from Camtree. They’ve taken a huge leap in their quality. I own and have in possession the BMCC 2.5k EF version. My older camtree/proaim mattebox works fine with the set up EXCEPT I would prefer the ability to swing the box out of the way when changing lenses.

Hey John, thank you for the response, I did buy the proaim box for another camera, and would like it to fit, like you say, into the BMPC 4k and it sounds like it will. Thank you so much, that’s a financial relief, lot’s to buy to make new camera production ready, whatever can transfer is very, very helpful.

Thanks Steven, since no information about the measurements from bottom to mid lens seem to be around for the BMPC4K, I guess I’ll just have to wait until I get it and work from there. Feels a little backwards to me, I like a camera to be production ready when I get it, buy, shoot, edit – yeah babe. Excited to work with this camera.

WHAT cage did you buy and how do you know it will fit the BMPC4K? I can’t find the measurements that would help me, and did you have to buy right angle 1/4 inch audio cable to make it fit? Hey John and Craige, THANKS A LOT. Your conversation really helped me a lot, from last two months I was confused which brand matte box I should buy. Previously I was using Redrock matte box quality was good but its price is high my budget didn’t gave me permission.
Last week my camtree camshade matte box reached to me. Its quality is also well built and this is a great matte box bundle for price. I am very happy. Once again thanks.
