May 25, 2007 at 4:42 pmthe ‘release to layers’ function worked for you, then there is pretty quick way to build this in illustrator and ae, but you won’t have much control… in illustrator i said to use the ‘release to layers (sequence)’, try using the ‘release to layers (build)’ instead. pull the new separated layer out of the parent layer and delete the parent. select all the layers and choose ‘reerse order’ from the layers palette menu and save.
I had recently watched the ‘cartoonification’ tutorial wherein they discussed using the ‘release to layers’ route – and I like the animated masks suggestion too… I was going to suggest using particle playground or the trapcode particular option w/ a stick function for the logo elements, but that’s prolly too much trouble…

May 25, 2007 at 4:45 pmYAH, I LIKE THE ANIMATED MASKS SUGGESTION (I’M RENDERING NOW). JUST GOT TO GET THIS UP ON THE SERVER, BUT AM GOING TO KEEP PLAYING WITH ALL THE SUGGESTIONS. SO FAR THE ANIMATED MASKS ARE WORKING THE BEST.
THANKS!
HEATHER
