I have the Tektronix WFM 5000

I guess the issue here is the amount of throughput we have means that even though I basically manually legalize most stuff in the grading suite, we need something to catch anything missed once graphics etc are done.

For some reason the Harris legalizer always seems to cause problems so we have given up on this. At the moment we just stick the FCP legal filter on the final quicktime before going to HDcam. It seems to work.

What kind of problems are you having with the Harris? Which one are you using? I’ve run a ton of shows through various DL 860’s and never had a problem, that was introduced by the legalizer… on shows coming from FCP/Color/DaVinci…
