    Hi Al,

I’ve just posted the solution in my other thread.

By going on here (https://community.hpe.com/t5/Tape-Libraries-and-Drives/HPE-StoreOpen-on-Mac-no-longer-can-store-files-4GB/td-p/6959897), you can see the most recent solution is simply to exit Adobe Creative Cloud. My 4+GB files are now copying perfectly straightaway.

    Many thanks and kind regards,

    Francis

    Hello,

The post seems like very old. But I am also getting the same error here with both the hp half height and full height external drive. Did anyone find a solution for this issue using the hp gui software?

It was fine with my earlier IBM drive. I am only getting the issue with hp drive and hp ltfs.

    Hp ltfs version: 3.2.0
    Mac OS: 10.11.6 El Captain
    sas card: Atto R680
    Sas drivers : 3.7.6 (october 2017)

For us, it was Adobe Creative Cloud interfering with it. Quitting Creative Cloud from activity monitor resolved the issue.
