Please know that, as always, I try my best to help others here. I’m new to my position with ProMAX, and I’m still trying to figure out how to do everything I used to do, and more, without getting on anyone’s nerves. But, it’s a work in progress… “FWIW, I wasn’t troubled by the segue. It started with a simple link to an LJ freebee, rambled a bit, and then you added a link to another freebee. The forum is every bit as much about “or not” as it is about FCP X. The post seemed to flow on the regular tide of conversation and it wasn’t until somebody decided to critique the freebee that things seemed to go awry. Not your doing. Just my opinion.

“IMHO keep it up! These forums are all about information, as far as “unrelated detours, pretty much every post on this forum ends up in a very different place than it started anyway.

March 13, 2012 at 2:50 pmThanks for your support guys, and thanks for the input Gary. It’s all grist for the mill as they say…
The bottom line is, I’m always learning new things, and I’ve always worked hard to share what I know and what I learn with people on the Cow. And, while I do think carefully about what I write, I’m as imperfect as anyone when it come right down to it. The fact that I’ve written more than most (seventh leading poster of all times on Creative Cow last time I looked), means that I’m probably imperfect a bit more too.

Thank you Bill.
I think I’ll have that notion embroidered and hang it on my wall and point to it whenever my client/boss/wife/son disagrees with me. If they have a problem with it I’ll tell them to take it up with you.

True, that.
