    Make a black layer that is R=0, G=0, B=0

    Make sure you are not color managing
    In Photoshop choose Photoshop > Color Settings. (shift-command K)
    do: settings color management off.

    That should be it. Just make sure there is significant difference between that black and any other blacks/dark colors in your animation.

    And test, test, test!
