November 13, 2013 at 5:24 pmI’m running an AJA T-Tap, which should basically perform the same as your ioXT.
Mavericks support is not as good as 10.8 right now. Premiere Pro and FCP7 both have occasional audio sync and drop-out issues. I spoke to AJA and they are aware of the issue.

November 25, 2013 at 9:32 pmSome have wanted to know. It took a couple of tries at driver updates from AJA, but I can finally say that Final Cut Pro 7, on Mavericks (Mac OS X 10.9), with an AJA capture & monitoring card (io XT for me) for feeding your client monitor, is feeling reliable after testing. There were some crazy lip sync issues at first, but the new drivers from AJA (10.4.9) fixed it. So like the famous Monty Python line goes, “not dead yet!”

November 26, 2013 at 10:02 amIt is better, but still not as solid as 10.8. Much improved though.
I’ve reverted back to OSX 10.8 in the meantime though, because AJA still hasn’t released openIO drivers for Avid, and that’s crucial for me.

December 27, 2013 at 9:51 amAja io tx any idea of when io drivers for avid mc7.03 and mavericks will be available?
Anyone using the new avid with aja? What problems do you have?
Is it useable?
