    Hello

I received the sdi card and proceeded to install it. I find myself obliged to buy the bkm101c manual to be able to locate the right places where to put the cables.

The little card that comes with the sdi board needs to be plugged in the centerof the bottom card. The long white cable needs to be plug on the same board, but really near the front of the tv. I spent quite a bit of time to locate it even with the manual…

It works fine ! The only issue I’m having now is the blacks are green…. I tried to set the bias but it changed only a little..
    Thank you !

Check the menu and tuning knowbs to the defaults.

Check all you conections are seated correctly!

Was the monitor working fine using the component inputs. As far as I know (and I’m not a broadcast tech) you shouldn’t have to change to bias radically (may be different for NTSC), I’m in PAL land so maybe a little different but generally the picture should be close to normal.

The first monitor I bought from 2nd hand had a problem where one of the RGB colours was not working. Turns out the tube had to be replaced, luckly at the time (2008) I could still purchase a new tube from an international sony dealer. New replacement parts I believe would be very hard to come by now though.

I’m also in pal land !

I need to check the picture with pal composite. I had not turned on the monitor in two years.
I had to turn the bias green to the min and also in the service menu to get somewhere.

    I hope it is not a capacitator…

I am thinking abour buying a 1710 with hdsdi board (I can get one with zero hours…).
What do you think it would be worth ? (I really don”t like fkat screens…)

Hi If you still have the BKM-101C and its not installed, I’m a taker as I understand it work in NTSC land too.
