Ha! I found a still from that “Hiking in Sedona” shoot burried on my drive!

Dude (who was a really nice guy, btw) looks totally natural, huh?

Actually I was drawn to how underdressed she was for hiking. Therefore the shot works beautifully. 🙂

    It’s not your problem Jeremy.

The group was the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro Users Group for about 10 years. LAFCPUG.

A year or so ago, they did a modest rebranding as the LACPUG Los Angeles Creative Pro Users Group – to be more ecumenical towards all creative types.

It appears they never changed the groupn name acronym to reflect that and LAFCPUG.ORG is still in use.

I got it wrong in my initial post assuming they changed the web addy to reflect the new branding.

Should work for the splash page, with the meeting link at the bottom of the page under “next meeting”

[Bill Davis] “It’s not your problem Jeremy. “

I know, I was joking with the “missing the f” in the URL.

Apparently, my career as a comedian is still in the fledgling phase.

Hey, I laughed. Those two monitors you posted in the other thread, btw, look terrific.

And totally supporting my decision to let ladies do all my primary casting over the years.
As sages have long noted “a battle avoided is often a battle won” (except for tattoos, I guess!)

In following the thread about the head shots behind Bill I wonder if anyone else thinks that he has slightly more than a passing resemblance to Simon Cowell – no offence Bill 🙂

    best wishes

[Neil Patience] “more than a passing resemblance to Simon Cowell”

Well, perhaps except for the “my being significantly older, fatter and poorer” thing.

    Ces’t la vie!

Awesome. I wanted the HP, but they were out if stock everywhere.

I needed to get something as my other monitor couldn’t handle the extended dvi signal anymore. I found the Viewsonic, and now I want another one!

I’ll be there tonight. Being a Guru in fact. I hope you are there early so you can answer the FCP-X questions that always pop up, but stump those of us who haven’t switched.

It’ll be nice to meet you. Rant to your face! Kidding, I’m done ranting.
