Slightly OT, but does the conform process also work for audio in the same quicktime file (slowing it down slightly, for example, when conforming from 24 to 23.98)?
Does it do this by changing the sample rate?

The conform option worked great! But now my audio is off, a forseeable problem. Any quick fixes or features for this one, or do I just re-sync audio manually?

The audio should get converted along with the video, and remain in sync, or are you trying to use the pre-conform audio??

No we this is the conformed audio. We relinked the sequence with all the newly conformed media. Wierd?

Tony,
Your case is a good example of why it is essential to understanding the post production workflow long before you start shooting.
It is not safe to rush over and skip critical technical information and knowledge just so you can avoid all the techno mumbo jumbo.
Expecting to output 24P to standard def was a major oversight since there is no current 24P standard def vtr in existence.
