Don’t mean to double-post, but I just noticed that the “Best Video formats” link on the Upload page points to the same information as the link posted by odd magne nilsen. It had been pointing to a different pop-up which said the SD preferred format as 480×360. That’s what I pasted above. So I’m glad to see they’ve now corrected the contradictions on YouTube.
