Oh, I don’t think I have Motion, (Unless it came with my FCP) Artbeats are looking for £199 for one clip (insane)
And i’m going to cry now.

I used to spend my time wondering, now it’s all used up rendering.

If all else fails, fade to black, kill the sound effect of the heart, add the tone of death, then cue the scream.
    good luck

He wasn’t referring to the NLE Vegas, he was referring to the Vegas effect in After Effects. That’s probably the easiest way to do it, but as you’ve mentioned, you’re using FCP. If you don’t have After Effects, I’d recommend buying some stock of it, as I can’t imagine an easy way of creating it within Final Cut.

may I suggest that you stop looking at Creative Cow this afternoon, and perhaps click on your MAC hard drive symbol, then click on Applications, and have a look around. Have you ever been to this directory ? Perhaps you should get an idea of what software is on your computer.

You talking about something like this? https://www.bretwilliams.com/nlediting/america2000.html

I just drew a green line in PS and wiped it on. It didn’t have to be very precise, but it could be.

In LiveType there is an object ready done: Pulse Rate.
But if you are working with FC 4, I don’t think you have LiveType, neither LiveType available.

My brain must be working differently than yours. I read “I need to kill someone” and my brain wonders who that might be, then I see Zelin’s name. I saw him as the most likely target, not the contractor. 🙂
