April 14, 2009 at 9:14 pmOn the flip side, I’m amazed at the fact that such a high level person within Panasonic answers questions in such a timely fashion on this forum. Jan is an example to the way big corporation can and should operate.

April 14, 2009 at 9:16 pmYou are indeed welcome, Gary. You know that we strive for fairness and balance. We let people have their say and they are welcome to express their opinion — but it ends there and is not going to become The Tirade That Would Not Die.
And as you have said, Jan most certainly does not deserve that: we have been honored over the years to have her input and presence here, she has helped many a user and she deserves more respect than what I saw happening in this exchange.
Best regards,
Ron Lindeboom

April 16, 2009 at 11:24 amMike,
Rail all you want. You had your say. You said what you wanted to. You said it more than once. No one censored you.
What WAS censored is the pathetic whining and repetitious ongoing brain-numbing echoes that you seem to want to keep trying to post over and over.
If that is what you want, go somewhere else, we gave you your say and it’s time to move on.

April 16, 2009 at 8:20 pmyou all think it is normal
Actually it is not normal, that is the point.
I know 20 people (even in my small market) that own HVX-200s and they haven’t had a lick of trouble with any one of them. If you would have bought from a local authorized Panasonic dealer in the first place you wouldn’t be having your “lemon” problem. If your case wasn’t the very rare exception, versus the overwhelming norm, you might get a little sympathy here. Believe me, if there was a problem with a lot of the HVX-200s, you would have heard about it a long time ago on this very forum. It also never helps your argument bashing an entire company’s line of products because of your bad experiences with two of them.Dual 2.5 G5, IO, Kona LH, IO, Medea Raid, UL4D, NVidia 6800, 4Gig RAM
Octocore 8 GB Ram, Radeon card, MBP, MXO
Windows Vista Adobe Studio CS4, Vegas 8.0, Lightwave 9.3, Sound Forge 9, Acid Pro 7, Continuum 5, Boris Red 4, Combustion 2008, Sapphire Effects -

April 16, 2009 at 8:41 pmI am sure as the months go by the number s will grow I have found several others including Barry Green himself that had the same problem.
I know if it was my company I would offer to fix the problem, as they left the factory with the problem.
that is all I am saying I dont feel I should pay an additianol $500-$600 to fix it.I rather put that towards a sony.

April 16, 2009 at 8:48 pmI should let sleeping dogs lie but I can’t help wondering why you only have 27 hrs. in 2 years on the camera. Has it been stored out in that high Florida humidity? This issue should have surfaced 23 months ago.

Can the forums please go back to helping people… write Panasonic a letter or call their customer support group. This is not the place.
