July 6, 2017 at 2:27 amHang on – you’re right Bret. I’ve been mostly working with the clips zoomed right out to a thumbnail – it’s easier when you’re zoomed in a bit, but I’ve noticed that the skim-playhead does indeed stick to the first frame. You just can’t overshoot and hit the next clip, which is where I would have been going wrong. That, and the keyboard shortcuts I’ve just learned to navigate clips have got me sorted on that. As for the range selection, it seems it’s permanently on, and I have just have to use more finesse – not a bad thing to train, and I’m already getting much cleaner with it now I’m getting more used to it.
