This is done in the size boxes in the Text Event FX box.”I agree, but also disagree this.
As I mentioned, create the text with a size that is aproppriate for the maximum zoom you plan. So the double size may be good, may be overkill, or may not be enough.
Depends on your zoom level 😉By(t)e

I came across this tip (doubling the text size) at least 3 years ago and have been using it ever since.
I don’t see any performance hit and, as I said, even without doing any zooming, my text is definitely cleaner. -

The pan/crop works nicely.
Will you direct me, step by step to the “track motion” method ? -

June 28, 2007 at 9:08 pmDon’t bother with Track Motion for zooming.
It’s great at moving images around the screen or shrinking them down and placing them in a certain position.
If you started with a still image that’s 2500 x 1600 pixels, it changes this to your project size (720 x 480) and zooms in on that. As you can imagine, the result, especially if you do a 2X or 3X zoom, will be unacceptable.
OTOH, Pan/Crop retains the image’s original size when zooming which is why it’s the preferred tool for doing this. -

June 29, 2007 at 6:09 amThank you guys for the help.
BTW I zoom in pan/crop by pushing the diagonal handle (IE cut and try). Is there “more professional” way ?
