Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy How do I mimic “coverflow” effect in FCp/Motion? Quickly/Cheaply?

So, I’m working with this but stumbling a little because I’m not yet fluent in Apple Motion, could use a few more hints. I built a folder with my shots and used the % numbering trick to put them in order. I drop the picon for the effect onto the canvas and pick the preset I like, I get a still that looks awesome. Now the documentation is not very specific how I manipulate each still into the keyframe editor to actually animate it.

A little bump over the wall, please, and I’m sure I will get over it:-)

“Oh, you wanted to RECORD that?”

It is really more of a “how you do stuff in Motion” question, but I sure could use a little more “walk me thru” of how to place and animate the actual files using this awesome plug-in.

    Karen,

Please make sure you are running the latest version of CoverFlux and the latest FxFactory.

Thanks. It turns out that my sequence was not recognized as HD. It is now and looks great. Thank you very much.

The CoverFlux works well, but I can’t get a reflection, even though the parameters are set for it. Any advice?

    Many thanks,
    Geoff
