how can I back it up? I got 45.29 GB of other stuff on it.

You need another drive with 45.29 GB. How much room does you other Lacie have on it?

The other one is maxed. there is only 7 GB left. The first sequence 1 quick time movie took up 63.64 GB. I just got an idea I”ll dump everything from the first Lacie on to the FAT32 Lacie which should give me enough space to finish it with out reformating everything.

NO! Don’t do that.
just delete sequence 1 on your first Lacie, then backup Lacie 2 on to 1. Reformat 2 and then export botth to lacie 2.

I am having this same problem. I have two external drives, both formatted to Mac OS Extended.
I do not have compressor, just FC. No matter what format I export to, I get the horrible horizontal lines.
