Hello all,
I did FrameRateConversion before with Varicam footage, but now…
I have a DVCProHD Tape shot with 60fps with the system frequency of the camera set to 59.94. (So, I did not shot 60p, i shot 59.xxx fps)
I have a Panasonic 1200 Deck, connected via firewire to my PowerBookG4 (I know itGary Adcock replied 20 years, 4 months ago 3 Members · 5 Replies -

January 9, 2006 at 8:05 pmSounds like the deck is set to downconvert HD to SD (DV or DVCPRO). This site will show you the proper settings for all of the menus:
https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/pro-av/sales_o/ieee1394/AJ-HD1200AP_FCPHD45.html
The 800 menus control format conversion. Check there first.

I had at first after setting menu point 894 of the 1200 deck to HD strange self shut downs of my FCP, but now everything is good (-: !!!
Please contact me offline under mail@firstcamera.de to get your postal mail adress to send you a bottel of the finest red wine I can get in munich (munich is almost northern italy), i would suggest a bottel of BRUNELLLO 1992.. Where ever you want this bottle to be shipped on this planet!
Other Planets might be to expensive in terms of the shipping (-;
You are my hero of the month…Thank you so much,
you saved my week…Cheers,
Emanuel

No worries, we’ve all been there before, pulling our hair out. Here is another web site which may be of help:

Looking forward to trying that wine!
