We could use one of our MacPros with a multi-port NIC and link aggregation or we’d have a whole separate server/NAS. As for your question above, you really do need to check out our ProMAX Platform – its 1GbE and/or 10GbE shared storage and lots more – with Direct-Connect “Switchless” design.
Switches = expensive bottlenecks. Platform has increased performance and higher bandwidth without expensive 10GbE switches.
