Not exactly Jeremy. Was in a post related with System or HDs maintenance. Somebody mentioned that (I think to remember) with the new Mac Intel, DiskWarrior was not necesary. A similar optimization was possible holding the left botton while starting.
I had a look in Google and came across with “fsck”, but is something quite diferent.
Now I think was Bogessian who sayd that. I misstook it for Borjis.

Safe boot does do some optimization, not like Disk Warrior, but it might be what you are thinking of.

The leopard should offer a tool for for a more indeep optimization.
Let see what brings.
