Actually it wasn’t the sync generator – it was the Format Converter on the deck.

The whole time I’ve had a tri-level sync generator.

There’s a sub-sub menu on the SR deck that will slave deck control to the Frame Converter if you have it set to a different frame rate.

Those decks can be crazy….it’s like choose which city you want to die if you do something wrong. ;-D
