Help! audio badly out of sync w/video!

Sorry, Richard. I can’t remember. (At the time, I was converting old VHS tapes to DVD format.) It appears that this problem has been fixed with later versions of Sony Vegas Platinum.

FYI (many years later, but…) I tried the suggestion of dropping the audio sample rate to 32,000, but it had no corrective effect on the audio sync issue that I, too, am having – though it’s on version 10.

So far, the ONLY thing that has brought the rendered results in sync is grabbing just a small looped region – like 30 seconds – instead of the whole 10 minute piece. Suddenly, with this smaller piece, it was in perfect audio sync after rendering. Unfortunately, I need a 10 minute piece! But I have a feeling this is telling. Any thoughts?
