HD Footage to SD DVD

I need help

if I want H264 so I get MP4 file that can be played through Hard driver or USB and also can burn Blu ray bring MP4 file into Encore

What should be the best setting if i want only H264 please and then bring that MP4 file as timeline to Encore.

In Encore Should I change Preset Setting as it is showing me MPEG2 Blu Ray and Preset is 120x720P 23.976. However It record video on camera 1920 1080 on 29.97 and render from premiere also at 1920 1080 29.97.

Why Encore automatically shows MPEG2 Blu Ray and Preset is 120x720P 23.976.

Should I change this to H 264 1920 1080 29.97 from MPEG2 Blu Ray and Preset is 120x720P 23.976 as shown in pic or just leave it as it is.

I am new your help is greatly appreciated.
I am concerned buz my MP4 file size is 18GB before bringing to Encore but it Encore as you see Disk File size is only 13.44GB. WHy or How this happens
