    Walter thanks,
I bought an Apple one with a huge power supply, and I think the problem is that is a DVI to ADC when I need an ADC to DVI. I am not even sure Apple makes one.
    Thanks

I bought one made by Formac just the other day at my local MAC store (not Apple Store) for $39.00. See its at https://www.powermax.com/parts/show/a-drb-0136-addv?src=g for even less. It works quite well and clips on without a cable.
