September 3, 2009 at 11:44 pmJust wondering about what kind of air can cleaning you perform on your Mac?
I’m eager to clean mine before inserting a new hard drive I’ve bought.

Peter,
As I wrote you elsewhere…
Your best bet it not to blow, but to suck…
In other words, use a vacuum rather than a can of Dust Off. A dry paint bush and a vacuum used in tandem is even better.
Dust Off is great for keyboards, but when it comes to solid state electronics, the liquid propellant in the cans of Dust Off can be a killer. It’s probably okay to blow carefully into the fan mechanism on a video card, but a vacuum is still a heck of a lot safer.

Thanks again David. Will look into Dust Off for my keyboard also.
All the best
