Also, I gave the quicktime blur a go and it’s working. I’ll look for the doc and give that a try if it’s easier than adding the filter, then upgrade as soon as this is over. Thanks for all the help!

This one bit me hard on a project last year and I spent a couple days figuring out what made this bug tick. It was amazing, you could lay a clip on a timeline, drop an effect on, and suddenly the frame would jump to something else entirely. So glad I’m through the crossgrade now.

September 11, 2007 at 1:43 amYes, this trick is handy for a number of things. There’s a bug in 10 bit scaling for FCP and this same trick works to cure it.
